So… I’ve taken a while off. Well, not really, I’ve done a different approach.
Basically, whenever we would have a Design and Technology presentation, I would write and write about my thoughts and feelings while the presentation was given, to then be able to perfect it later. Well, now is later. As those final copies will be my next few posts, I think we should veer back to great design here.
Especially, because I recently have been accepted into an internship with Oscar De La Renta’s sister brand, Adam Lippes. Run by the creative director of Oscar De La Renta. But- who is this brand? (I definitely know but I’m taking a moment for myself to flex right now).

Adam Lippes is an American luxury fashion brand that offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, and home decor. The brand was founded in 2004 by Adam Lippes, who is known for his clean, classic aesthetic and use of high-quality materials.
Adam Lippes collections are characterized by their elegant, minimalist designs that often feature sophisticated details and a modern twist. The brand’s clothing is known for its impeccable tailoring, luxurious fabrics, and flattering silhouettes that are designed to fit and flatter a wide range of body types.

Lippes uses a neutral color palette, with a focus on black, white, and shades of gray, as well as soft pastels and earth tones. He also incorporates bold prints and patterns into his collections, often drawing inspiration from art, nature, and global cultures.

In addition to its fashion collections, Adam Lippes also offers a range of home decor products, including bedding, bath linens, and tabletop accessories. The brand’s home decor line is designed to complement its clothing collections, with a focus on timeless, understated style and high-quality craftsmanship.

I respect the use of simplicity as an advantage and transform it into something excellent with quality of design and material. Sometimes the best designs lie in keeping simplicity, yet advancing using extremely high quality. The white t-shirt or a pair of blue jeans, things that will never go out of style yet have kept us wanting to reimagine for decades. Reimagining is not always necessary if your initial product is durable and uses simplicity to its advantage. Classic design, that’s what Adam does best. Great design does not always have to be innovative or pioneering, sometimes good old classics make a brand reputable in itself.
