It’s finally happening. Yes, that’s right, I’m discussing my favourite brand.
Hi Hugh, as you’ve come to realize ((hopefully, although to be fair a lot of my blogs are lengthy, so fair enough if you’ve gotten bored quickly)) I draw a line between factual and expressional in my blogs. Sometimes, you’ll hear a LOT of my voice and opinions, other times, I’ll do most of the work research-based. Anyways, today is mostly going to be my voice, a little less serious I guess.
My first PRADA purchase was in Dublin, Ireland last summer. I bought a simple pair of PRADA sneakers. The thing I liked the most about them is how well they were able to mould to my feet.

I couldn’t find an actual picture of my shoe unfortunately, but just imagine it’s THIS shoe with white detailing on the side for the PRADA logo INSTEAD of black. The black is incredibly tacky in my opinion.
Anyways, I can understand how it may seem egregious to invest in such a pricy piece of footwear. Although, one year later the shoes are just as beautiful as they were when I bought them. Most impressively, I love the attention to detail.

The bottom of the shoes is not only glued to the soles but also skillfully sewn into the plastic sole. I’ve had little to no detachment from the shoe to the sole although I have been wearing these shoes every day, which is actually quite a hard find for me.
Furthermore, the quality of the leather is very high. This has allowed the shoes to mould to my feet very well whilst also being quite breathable, something that is once again difficult to find.
Although the shoes may have been an investment, after a year of wear they have kept an amazing shape and improved greatly due to moulding to my foot and their durability. Furthermore, style-wise they have completely kept their colour (albeit a polish once in a while).
Simple yet effective, I’m a huge fan of the PRADA brand due to their high-quality product delivery and durability. At this rate, these shoes will last me my lifetime (or close to it). They have taught me an appreciation for luxury items.
