A step-by-step evaluation
Initial impressions – the “look” of the products

Admittedly, even the quality of the pictures gives quite a large impression of how the products differ on the outside. The Dyson Airwrap has a sleek, rounded body with a high-quality shiny metal defining it. In contrast, the Revlon one step is completely plastic, although the design is still admittedly sleek and coherent, it’s evidently a much “uglier” product. The spikes sticking out give quite an abrasive effect, leading me to believe that honestly, that thing could fry my hair!
In terms of “look”… The Dyson Airwrap has an evident upperhand due to it being a luxury product with soft design.
Product Features – Buttons and all

The Revlon One Step
3 Heat Settings
1 singular top that cannot be removed
Soft Bristles to prevent hair damage
Cool Tip
The Dyson Airwrap
4 Heat Settings
5 Different tops for varying purposes
Heat Control to prevent hair damage
Cool body
Although the features for the airwrap may be more robust, I feel as though the One Step matches it quite well. To be fair, as a user of both, the One Step fulfills all the needs of the airwrap where it matters most. Having a cool setting for setting hair in place, low heat setting for drying hair, and high heat setting for styling, that is all you would need when styling your hair. Furthermore, when syling your hair having a cool tip at the top is the only part i naturally grab on to, so the full protection of the entire body being cool in the dyson is pretty worthless. Although, on down side of the Revlon One Step is I do wish the bristled top could be removed to be inevitably replaced. This is something dyson does well, with each of their features being a seperate part, they are all easily replacable. Being devil’s advocate, having sooo many parts begins to make the user experience pretty overwhelming, and difficult for transportation. I get much more use out of my Revlon one step due to it being easy to just throw in my bag and go. Moving the Dyson around is a timely, delicate experience (especially with cost in mind).
Features wise… obviously the One Step.
Speaking Of Cost… Price Comparison Time

Wow! What an insane difference, for the exact price range that is being shown, whereas the One Step completes every feature necessary that the Airwrap accomplishes.
The One Step is incredible price for value.
By far, although it is not a luxury item, the One Step as a product is much more valuable than the Airwrap.
