Eames – A review on their creations (a personal statement)

For a lot of my blogs, i’ll take the time to sit, do some research, and try to create an impactful and meaningful experience. For this one, you get to listen to my opinions.

The Eames family home is an excellent use of light and space. Airy, relaxing and vibrant. Set in a beautiful woodland location, this is quite literally my dream home. 10/10.

I unfortunately despise this chair very deeply. It is quite literally the worst. Uncomfortable, I have no idea where to put my arms, and it always vacuums seals my butt. Yes, you’ve read that correctly, I sit down and this chair becomes a physical part of me. Let me tell you, NOT a good lounge chair. I can appreciate it’s sleek and coherent design, and enjoy that the seat bends into the back support in quite an appealing form. 2/10. 2 points for being pretty.

I’ve added this elephant in because it’s absolutely adorable, although it has no purpose and retails at approximately £1,240. Not sure it’s worth it. 3/10, points for being cute.
